Why is Prezi becoming more and more disappointing? Prezi Classic was wayyyy better and you guys kinda stop offering it and you give us Next, which is just as boring and rigid like Powerpoint.
Hello everyone, we are happy to announce this feature is currently under discussion, and as soon as we have any updates we will let you know. My Prezi presentation will allow me to insert audio on each slide but when I go to the next slide the audio stops.
The current audio feature only allows you to add sound to steps - which can be used to add a voice-over to your presentation in which you describe what your audience supposed to see at the certain steps.
Adding a background audio is not possible at the moment. I am trying to add music to go through several slides and play the entire song? Is that not possible? I have seen prezi playing songs while the presentation is playing - they all hit insert background audio?
Was this a feature in the past? Yes, we used to have this feature in Prezi Classic, and as I wrote we plan to add it to Next as well. When Holdcom started using Prezi about a year ago, we were very excited about the site's ability to incorporate audio into online presentations. But then, we tried to do it. And we were very, very disappointed.
After all, we know that a good presentation becomes great when you add professional voices and licensed, royalty-free music. You know all those things I keep saying about music licensing? About not streaming internet radio in your store , and playing only legally licensed music on hold?
The same rules hold true for your Prezi. Music licensing can be very complex. Both the speech and the music can be placed in the same presentation, they will not collide with each other, because the program will automatically lower the music when it goes through the speech. And that last thing has already been written, how to put background music in my presentation with Prezi easily should no longer be a doubt in your mind.
