Where is banana beach

Drive 2 or 3 km, then take the intersection on the right and follow the signs to Naithon Beach. There are two paths to reach Banana Beach from the road. To reach the first and the best know way down, a line of bikes or cars parked on the roadside will give you a hint.

The second access is a couple of hundred meters further, in a curve. This second access is easier but requires a longer walk, including crossing a shallow stream of water. Surrounded by palm trees, the beach is located in the northwestern corner of the island. The purest waters of blue-sky color quietly splash at its coastal edge. It is surprising that the infrastructure of such a spectacular recreation area has not yet been properly developed.

But this corner of nature cannot be called deserted either. There is a small restaurant where the menu is dominated by delicious variations of seafood. Loved the sand and watersports.

Not matter how many people will go to Banana, it never gets packed! It is such a long beach that you feel ample and spacey to lay your towel and relax. Children loved the soft sand and made some gorgeous castles! This was their favorite beach and my adult daughter loved the watersports.

First time to ride a banana on the Banana beach, ha! She keeps asking me if we are going to Zante next summer. We are split in going to Zante again or try its neighbor, Kefalonia.

But will Kefalonia have so beautiful beaches, like Banana? Porto Vromi. Limni Keriou. The beach is breathtaking with soft sand and there are some excellent beach bars and restaurants there as well.
